Why do men who love men exist?
A simple explanation for why homosexuals exist.
In the story of evolution, we were a part of the winning tribe.
So called Queer people exist simply for the purpose of tribal optimization. Mother Nature decided over time that a tribe with a mix of heterosexuals and homosexuals makes a stronger tribal group than a group of 100 pure heterosexual people.
To elaborate, queers exist in the same vein as they provide value to the tribe in multiple ways. Different genders have different skill sets, so as a rule, queer people to maximize their value would be better suited to be gender ambidextrous to a varying degrees. This way, they can socialize and get along with both sides of the tribe, half being male and the other half being female. They can perform roles of both the traditional masculine, like going to war, chopping wood, providing structural guidance, and hunting. They can also perform traditionally feminine duties such as caretaking, cooking, cleaning, caring for the sick, emotional guidance, and doing things in the same vein that help extend and enrich life for those around them.
These queer people are usually, but not all the time homosexual. The reason is that being homosexual blocks or prevents reproduction and the raising of new offspring. With this pathway blocked, they can then fulfill their roles full time. If they had offspring as often as the average heterosexual in the tribe, then there would be no point in creating them as a unique group in the first place. They would be spending the bulk of their time providing for the new mouths to feed that they created.
In the case of gay men. These are men who are based in the masculine and enriched with the feminine to varying degrees. Some have a little bit of femininity, and some have a whole lot. They have unique traits as a group that separate them slightly from traditional straight men, usually in the way of creative and emotional intelligence. These men actually take pressure off of their straight brethren in various ways, in roles of tribal support systems, leadership, and even leaving them with additional women to partner with.
They make up enough of the tribe to make a positive difference. But, at around 5 – 10 percent of men, they are not so numerous as to get in the way of the heterosexual process of baby making. Nature found a perfect balance. So, the commonly stated point of homosexual men being a so-called “reproductive dead end” is less valid when you help the genes of your family and tribal group survive anyway. Regardless of your numbers.
There is much that I am leaving out for brevity’s sake, as I am not writing a book here. I also take it that you, the reader, are mature and wise enough to get the point without all the bells and whistles added on top and in between.
There are other queer people also. Lesbians, Bisexuals, transgender people, etc. They all help forward life in their own ways, which I will not get into too deeply here. I truly believe none of these people are happy accidents. They are instead intentional products of nature’s process. I don’t want to risk offending, so I will leave my thoughts and theories on those other groups off of these pages. I will stick to my target audience, which is the homosexual man.
To be brief, we homosexuals want to think we are all types of things. That we are magical, mysterious, silly mistakes, and mystical entities, when in reality, it isn’t all that serious. We really aren’t THAT special. We are created by life to fulfill its purpose and to help the tribe survive and thrive. In the 300,000-year race that is human history, you are a part of the winning tribe.
