The 3 Acknowledgements

The 3 Acknowledgements

The purpose of the three acknowledgements is to cleanse your subconscious mind of the negative ideas surrounding your sexuality and way of being that have been drilled into your head over time by the greater society.

Meditate on these principles and ideals every now and then until they sink in.

#1. Fill your own cup first.

Your first duty in this life is to take good care of yourself, your mind, body, spirit, and finances. And as you achieve the various levels of success, do not be hesitant to pour out from your cup, to share your blessing with others, as God has bestowed his blessing on you. Understand that you cannot pour anything from an empty cup.  Thus, work hard in this life, in your career, and do good with what talents you are born with and have acquired, and make the best of them.

#2. Acknowledge that you are a being crafted by nature over time to help move life forward, even if you may not be involved directly in its creation.

The intimate act of conception between a man and a woman takes about 9 minutes.  The gestation period for a new child to be born takes about 9 months.  The act of living, working, loving, creating, and all that life entails takes about 90 years.  Not everyone is involved in the 9-minute act; less than half the population takes part in the 9-month act of gestation.  However, everyone plays a connected part in an individual’s 90-odd years of life from birth til the grave.

Arguably, the homosexual was crafted by nature to be removed from the heterosexual process for this reason alone.  We help bring life to the life already in existence.

You are crafted by nature to assist in the forwarding of life by way of optimizing the family groups and tribes that you are a part of.  You do this by leveraging your gifts and unique position in the intersections of gender, sexuality, and creative energy.  Because of you helping everyone else live better, they carry on your same shared genetic material for you.

Over the last 300,000 years of human history, there were around 12,000 human generations that lived and died. Gay men and men who love men still exist in abundance.

Because of this, it is important that men who love men stop apologizing for their existence and understand the simple fact that if you didn’t serve a purpose, nature would have gotten rid of you at least a few thousand years ago.

#3. Acknowledge that your sexuality is a gift from your creator to help you live a full and balanced life. Cherish this gift and do not abuse it.

Acknowledge that sexuality is a gift from your creator to help you live a full and passionate life, to experience love and commitment to another.  However, this gift is not to be abused without consequence or accountability on your part.  Despite it being fun to practice, sex has value.  Practice discipline, standards, and boundaries when it comes to your sexuality. Respect your body and the bodies of others.  Being reckless has physical, mental, and spiritual consequences.

We can get into arguments about religion and verses, and interpretations.  We won’t do that here.    Most of the oft-cited verses are mainly about self-respect, and respecting your body and the body of others.  Gay men have existed since time immemorial.  If you want to know the truth you can do the research yourself.  But in the meantime, we ask instead that you use your common sense.
